1) Why is this particular tool or technology relevant to language learning? What approaches to language learning or research underpin the use of this technology?
Quizlet is relevant to language learning because you can develop the 5 skills of the language process. It is very complete and is interesting for students. Gamification plays an important role in the way that students learn and this app involves all the aspects. Quizlet is similar to others but it has one particular aspect related to listening because you can write what you are listening.
2) How might you use it to foster language learning? Think about your target audience.
Students feel comfortable and motivated to participate with this app because they see it as a game more than a boring activity. It is a good idea to use new methods to teach instead of the traditional ones.

The appeal of a digital learning tool is that it can ask much more dynamic questions than what you can do with paper. Quizlet can figure out what material you’re struggling with and just focus on that. It can also verify what you know and coach you to only stop studying when it thinks you’re ready!
ResponderEliminarPretty informative, such a complete post. I've used this app before and it is quite fun and interesting. I used during my internship and students loved it. They had fun and learnt a lot. It brings significative learning and motivates students to participate. I will definitively recommend it. I think is similar to Kahoot but just in terms of gamification because have a different focus on the learning skills. Excellent post!
