Let me give all of you a warm welcome to this new blog which is called Cito's ICTs which was created to be developed into ICTs classes. We are about to start with the first topic of the year, which is 21st century skills. These skills have emerged within this century as abilities that every person should have in order to achieve an entirely development as a person. Such skills are known as:
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Creativity and imagination
- Critical thinking
- Problem solving
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Global and cultural awareness
- Information literacy
- Leadership
- Civic literacy and citizenship
- Oral and written communication skills
- Social responsibility and ethics
- Technology literacy
- Initiative
The 4 Cs stand for the 4 main skill that a student should have inside a classroom. They stand for :
- Communication
- Collaboration
- Critical thinking
- Creativity

Hi there! I've never heard about 21st century skills as a whole concept before, but after seen your entry i think they are very important.
ResponderEliminarThey not only provide a framework for successful learning in the classroom, but ensure students can thrive in a world where change is constant and learning never stops. And they are also tremendously important for our nation’s well being.
I hope that as future teachers we have each of these characteristics, so we can make our students develop them from an early age.
